Common Data Set (CDS)

The Common Data Set (CDS) is a standard set of commonly used data points such as those published in college directories and rankings databases. These measures are usually less detailed and less locally relevant than SJSU's internal measures, but in some cases may be useful for broad statistics and for numbers comparable to those of other institutions.

It is organized around 11 topics: (A) general campus, (B) enrollment and persistence, (C) first-time, first-year (freshmen) admissions, (D) transfer admissions, (E) academic offerings and policies, (F) student life, (G) annual expenses, (H) financial aid, (I) instructional faculty and class size, (J) degrees conferred, and (K) definitions.
